Matt’s connection to the ocean began early—his first birthday was spent on a boat at Rottnest Island off the coast of WA, setting the course for a lifelong passion for the sea. Growing up in Western Australia, he was constantly on the water, whether fishing, free-diving, or spending time on family and friends’ boats. His love for the ocean extended into competitive sports, excelling in water polo, swimming, and triathlons at a state level.

At 19, inspired by stories of working on superyachts abroad, Matt packed his bags and set off for France with little more than curiosity and ambition. It wasn’t long before he realized yachting was more than just a working holiday—it was a career that would take him around the world.

Now, with nearly 18 years of experience, Matt has worked aboard a variety of yachts ranging from 20 to 80 meters, catering to high-profile clients and navigating some of the world’s most remote and breathtaking destinations. He holds a captain’s license for vessels up to 3000gt and has accumulated over 250,000 nautical miles (500,000 km) at sea, including more than 15 Atlantic crossings. His extensive travels have taken him to the Mediterranean, Caribbean, French Polynesia, Indonesia, the Arctic, and even Antarctica.

Jay has been working in super yachting since 2008 and have been employed on commercial charter yachts from 50-90m. Cruising all of the America's, most of Northern, Eastern and western Mediterranean, and have travelled to over 50 countries. And he's tried his best to fish them all too.

Mitchell started driving for his father’s water taxi business, driving classic wooden boats on the Yarra river in Melbourne. He then moved into yachting and has worked on a number of vessels all over the world from 35m to 70m in length.

With three years' experience in yachting, Liam built on a passion that originated from growing up around boats and the water. His previous background in real estate and property development has shaped his professional life, but a love for the ocean and maritime adventure has always been at the core. Liam is drawn to the destinations where there is good surf and the beer is cold.

In between Surf Coaching, concreting and landscaping Ari enjoyed competing in Surf competitions throughout New Zealand and fishing the far north. His attraction to yachting was a life on the water and the cool places it will take him.

Jack is an easy going, approachable crew member who comes from a large family in a small country town. He loves working on MISCHIEF and meeting new people from all walks of life. He is passionate about guitar and fitness and has spent 5 years in the Navy.

Marin is Mischiefs longest standing crew member having worked onboard for 8 years! He is a man of great knowledge and many a story, best heard in real life.

A professional tinkerer and certified Yachtie, Killa will fix it.

Boris’s career started as a 15 years old, cooking in hotels, Through this experience of high standard restaurants with skilful chefs he ended up as a junior sous chef in Hilton hotel at the age of 20. In 2013 Boris made a life changing decision and visited Australia where his endless passion for cooking and Mediterranean style of cuisine brought him to cook at leading Sydney restaurants. In 2019 Boris decided to do something more challenging and started as a Private Chef. From there it was few steps to yachting.

In general he loves to cook handpicked fresh produce, vegetables, pastas and fresh seafood.

Shano started in cafes and restaurants and moved into the music industry, catering film & television, event catering, private catering before finding himself Freelancing for a good 16 years in Australia, England and France. Versatility is his specialty and he believes in good honest food that brings people comfort and joy and if people aren’t laughing, it’s not working.

Cass began working in Childcare at the age of 16 and nannying 5 children from 17 years.

She spent a little time as a personal assistant before finding herself yachting in the Mediterranean throughout Summer. Once Cass landed in South Africa she crossed into Personal Training… since then she has returned to the world of Yachting, enjoying the opportunity to combine the skills acquired over the years.

Mands has been a passionate Beauty Therapist for 20 years and an enthusiastic Yacht Stewardess for 10. What more could you want!

Growing up I have always spent my summers on the Lake where I would do all kinds of water sports which I loved. From a young age I have been a competitive dancer in Hip Hop. This has taken me over the world to competitions and think this gave me my sense of adventure.

Learning about the yachting industry at 14 and seeing the places where the boats can go, I knew that's what I wanted to jump into as soon as I finished school.

I am a 26 year old originally from the UK, but have grown up most of my life in beautiful Australia. And if you grow up in Australia you are most likely introduced to the water at a very young age! And for me the open water and the freedom that yachting brings is what stems my passion. The sense of adventure and the camaraderie formed onboard are what make yachting so special! I cherish the connections I build with guests and crew alike, sharing laughter and creating lifelong memories.
