The Cannes Yachting Festival is an exclusive maritime event that takes place in the French Riviera. It features over 600 yachts on display and attracts over 50,000 visitors. The festival offers a variety of activities, seminars, and demonstrations and showcases the latest boats, tenders, and luxury lifestyles. Renowned boat builders such as Baglietto, Gulf Craft, Pearl Yachts, Sanlorenzo, and Van der Valk Yachts among others participate in this event.

When is the Cannes Yachting Festival?

The festival takes place from September 10 to 15 and marks the beginning of the boat show season, providing an opportunity to preview new boat releases and world debut launches.

Where does it take place?

It is held in the Cannes port, located in the heart of the city on the French Riviera, offering a picturesque setting for both business and pleasure. The event takes place in two major areas.

Vieux Port

Vieux Port, one of the oldest harbours on the French Riviera, where visitors can enjoy the scenic seafront and spot yachts near the Palais des Festivals.

Port Pierre Canto

Port Pierre Canto, located across the bay, is known for showcasing in-water sailing yachts and also features the Yacht Brokerage & Toys Area, where visitors can preview some boats for sale or charter, as well as a variety of nautical toys and accessories for yachts.

It’s highly recommended to visit the iconic Boulevard de la Croisette where all the beachfront hotspots are. You can also indulge in breathtaking views of the golden sunsets from Le Suquet hill.
