This is the Caribbean week most people are picturing, with three more nights so nothing is rushed. Fly into Antigua, which has direct flights from London, board at Nelson's Dockyard, and run north-west with the trade wind behind you: Barbuda for lunch at Nobu, Nevis and St Kitts for the green quiet islands, two nights in St Barths for the opposite, and Anguilla's beaches to finish before St Maarten and the flight home.
The islands here sit a few hours apart. Mornings are the move, lunch is at anchor somewhere new, and the afternoon and evening belong to the island. The one long day is Barbuda to Nevis, five hours, and it is the day the crew set up the slide.
Superyacht charters start on any day of the week, so the route stands on its own. If you want the crowd and the DJs in St Barths, we line your dates up so those two nights fall on a Friday and Saturday. For guests flying from the US we run the same route in reverse out of St Maarten, with one leg against the wind from Nevis to Antigua. Legs are approximate, at a steady ten knots, and the captain adjusts them for the weather on the day.
