About the Custom Line Navetta 33

The Navetta 33 is a 33-metre motor yacht from Custom Line, the semi-custom arm of Italy's Ferretti Group, launched in 2017 with exterior styling and layout by Rome's Zuccon International Project. Its defining feature is the patented Dual Mode Transom: at anchor, the stern folds open and a platform lowers beneath the water, turning the back of the boat into a beach club at the water's edge. Custom Line built it around a simple idea — a home on the water where getting into the sea is as easy as walking out the back door.

Life aboard centres on the main deck, where the owner's cabin sits forward — full width of the boat, no stairs between bed and breakfast — and an open-plan saloon and dining room runs aft behind glass doors that slide away. Four guest cabins below sleep ten, with a crew of around six working from separate quarters. The upper deck holds a second, quieter lounge and shaded outdoor dining; above that, a sun deck with a whirlpool, plus a separate foredeck terrace for escaping the group. Unusually, many of the windows actually open, and twin stabiliser systems keep the boat steady at anchor, where most of a charter week is spent.

Few yachts of this size sell in such numbers: six were ordered before the model's 2017 debut at Cannes, and the 37th hull went into the water in March 2026. That track record matters — buyers get proven engineering and a deep resale market, while charterers benefit from layouts and crews refined across dozens of sister ships. The hull favours quiet, economical travel over speed, topping out around 15 to 16 knots depending on engines but able to cover 1,850 nautical miles at 10 knots. Against faster rivals such as the Sanlorenzo SL108, the Navetta 33 trades pace for space, steadiness and that sea-level stern.

The Navetta 33 suits families and groups of up to ten who want to spend the week anchored in quiet bays — swimming, dining and living at the water's edge — rather than racing between ports.
