The Refit of Mischief Yacht
Creating Australia's Largest Charter Yacht
Mischief Yacht was initially built in 2006 as a semi-displacement luxury yacht with an aluminum hull and superstructure. She underwent an extensive refit in 2020, which saw Ahoy Club undertake complete modifications to create a sleek and modern look. The task required innovation, expertise, and attention to detail.
Working with an extensive network of shipyards, subcontractors, and suppliers, ledto successful project completion. The team's experience was evident in the effective and cost-efficient project management, ensuring that the project was completed within the budget outlined.
Collaboration with Design Experts
To bring Mischief up to modern yacht standards, Ahoy Club worked closely with designer Joanne de Guardiola. The pioneering design included upgrades to the yacht's lighting, flooring, fabrics, and high-tech audiovisual systems, resulting in a bright and inviting interior. The collaboration between Ahoy Club and Joanne de Guardiola saw the creation of a modern and contemporary interior with enhanced natural lighting to maximize natural light and the yacht's stunning view.
Top-tier Engineering
Beyond the design improvements, optimising the yacht's engineering systems and incorporating new quality installations was a huge focus for the refit of Mischief yacht. The result was a flawless and brand-new feel to Mischief. Exterior renovations including caulking and sanding the decks, and polishing the superstructure and hull revitalised the yacht completely. The call was made to paint the deck Jacuzzi white to create a light and inviting atmorsphere outdoors.
Quality Service and Guest Comfort
Ahoy Club ensured that the refit of Mischief also accommodated excellent guest comfort, including enhancing the number of cabins and the yacht's layout. Working to ensure guest comfort and satisfaction the yacht received new carpets, a new master bed arrangement, and the conversion of the twin cabins into double cabins. In addition, all deck head ceiling panels were painted white, refinishing most of the wall panels, and marble inlays throughout. The finishing design touches included dramatic reflective white surfaces, accented with deep blues & blacks in her interior, with striking artwork displays that curate a fun and relaxed vibe.

I had an absolutely fabulous time on Mischief on Sydney Harbour. Given that it is difficult to travel abroad, my friends and I were at a loss at how we would spend the summer holidays. We contacted Ahoy Club and were met with nothing but excellent service throughout the entire process. The Ahoy Club crew went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed prior to and during our stay on Mischief - nothing was too big an ask. I couldn't think of a better way to ring in 2022, my friends and I enjoyed every second! Needless to say, exploring our own back yard, Sydney Harbour, was an unforgettable experience with thanks to the team at Ahoy Club.

I was fortunate enough to spend five days in Nadi, Fiji, aboard Mischief. The crew's attention to detail was impeccable, and they anticipated my every need before I even realised it myself. I’ve had an exceptional experience with Ahoy Club. The staff are extremely attentive and have catered for all of our needs. I was fortunate enough to spend a week in Italy on one of their charters, Mischief, which was a true bucket list experience. My experience on Mischief superyacht, was beyond incredible. From the minute I made contact with Cristalle until the very end, the process was absolutely seamless. She delivered beyond my expectations - I was able to install gorgeous chandeliers on the super yacht and my vision was brought to life thanks to Cristalle. A breathtaking sunset cruise aboard Super Yacht ‘Mischief Sydney’ tonight. Within our 2 hours, we experienced rain and lightning which quickly evolved into magical purple and orange skies and the absolute best views of our harbour as the sun went down! The hospitality was exceptional and all the crew were warm, friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend cruising with Ahoy Club and I can’t wait to tell all my friends, family and colleagues about the experience! Loved every minute!
