BRAY YACHT DESIGN LONG RANGE EXPLORER MOTORYACHT

Bray Yacht Design's latest project is a 135 ft. long-range motor yacht designed for a client with a passion for cruising remote areas. The semi-displacement aluminum hull with bulbous bow continues Pat Bray's award-winning work with super-fuel efficient technology and model tests for powering and sea keeping show excellent performance. Two C32 CATS drive 50" props, for an 18 knot cruise speed and 3000 mile range. Twin 60kw gen sets provide electricity. The yacht has a modern explorer-type profile with huge oval windows featured in the full-beam Owner's stateroom, and in the family-style galley. Next comes the dining room, then main salon and on deck aft is a launch-retrieval system for the 30' sport fish, and access to the spacious swim platform. From the salon, stairs lead up to the sports lounge; forward is the pilothouse with extensive glass bridge and semi-circular settee. Aft are RIB and jet ski storage, and the helipad. Up top, the fly bridge features a helm station, settees, barbecue, and lots of open space for relaxation. The lower deck forward has four cabins of upper and lower bunks, and a video lounge. A stairway from the galley provides easy access to the pantry with cold room and freezer. Aft, the lower deck has 5 luxury staterooms, each with en suite head.
