About BERING 165 EXPLORER YACHT

Bering 165 | 50m Explorer Superyacht Platform

The Bering 165 is the flagship model of Bering Yachts’ Superyacht division: a 50-metre steel explorer platform designed for owners who want serious long-range capability without compromising comfort, volume or lifestyle on board.

With two Bering 165 hulls already sold and in construction, the model has quickly become one of the most active new projects in the sub-500 GT explorer segment. It combines Bering’s proven steel explorer DNA with the scale, layout flexibility and guest experience expected from a modern superyacht.

The platform offers a full-displacement steel hull, aluminium superstructure, 499 GT of volume, a 9-metre beam and transoceanic range. Twin Caterpillar C32 engines provide efficient long-distance cruising, while the engineering package is designed around reliability, autonomy and extended time away from port.

One of the key strengths of the Bering 165 is flexibility. The yacht can be developed around the owner’s intended use: private family cruising, charter-oriented operation, high-latitude exploration, warm-water lifestyle, diving, tenders and water toys, or a more entertainment-focused layout. The first hulls already demonstrate how far the platform can be customised while keeping the same core explorer capability.

Inside, the Bering 165 offers generous guest accommodation, a dedicated owner’s area, large social spaces and practical crew circulation. Outside, the yacht provides expansive deck areas, space for a beach club arrangement, tenders, toys, diving equipment and open-air leisure zones.

The Bering 165 is not a styling exercise. It is a capable long-range superyacht platform for owners who want space, autonomy, safety and the freedom to build the yacht around their own way of using it.
