About the Sunseeker Manhattan 68

The Manhattan 68 is a 21.2-metre motor yacht from British builder Sunseeker, launched at the boot Düsseldorf show in 2020 to succeed the Manhattan 66 as flagship of the Manhattan flybridge range — the flybridge being the open upper deck with its own steering position. The exterior styling and hull are Sunseeker's own; the interior is by British studio Design Unlimited. The defining change was a reworked main deck: the galley went to the back of the saloon with a separate dining area alongside, and the owner's private staircase moved forward, so the deck flows like a bigger yacht's. A second generation premiered at the same show in 2025.

A week aboard revolves around three levels. Up top, the flybridge carries a wet bar with barbecue, sunpads and a second steering position — busy from breakfast to sundowners. The main deck runs from a bow lounge through the saloon and that galley-dining space to open seating at the back, so food and conversation follow wherever guests settle. Below, four cabins sleep eight: an owner's suite spanning the boat's full width, reached by its own staircase, a VIP cabin in the bow and two twins, plus quarters for up to two crew. At the stern, a hydraulic swim platform lowers into the water, with stowage for water toys.

Sunseeker doesn't publish production numbers, but the model earned a full second generation within five years — a vote of confidence few designs get. It competes with the Princess F70, Fairline Squadron 68, Azimut Fly 68 and Ferretti 670. Buyers choose between shaft-drive MAN V8 engines or Volvo Penta pod drives; either way, expect around 32 knots flat out, with roughly 550 nautical miles of range when slowed to 10 knots. What sets it apart at this size is privacy: the owner's suite has its own staircase off the saloon, giving a chartering family the sort of separation usually reserved for much larger yachts.

It suits owners and charter groups of up to eight — typically families — who want a fast, crewed 21-metre flybridge cruiser for week-long coastal itineraries with genuine master-suite privacy.
