What is a Princess?

Princess has built motor yachts in Plymouth since 1965 and is now one of Devon's largest employers, turning out several hundred boats a year. Its hulls have been drawn by naval architect Bernard Olesinski for four decades, and the range is the broadest in luxury yachting — V Class sportbridge, S Class sport yachts, F Class flybridge, the glass-walled X Class and the Y and M Class superyachts, from 12 to 40 metres.

Princess is the pragmatist's choice: the fleet is deep enough that you can usually find one where and when you want it, and the boats are engineered for real sea conditions rather than flat-calm marina days. The X Class in particular buys you far more living space than the length suggests — its full-width upper deck feels like a yacht ten metres longer.
