Ahoy Club’s best seen sailing yachts seen at MYS 2019

With the Monaco Yacht Show 2019 just over, the premiered Superyachts keep creating buzz in the media. This year’s edition saw some very alluring sailing yachts on show. Ahoy Club takes a look over some of the best sailing yachts seen at the show this year.

#1. SEAHAWK
Perini Navi

60m – 2013
All-aluminium sailing yacht SEAHAWK features Perini Navi in-house exteriors and naval architecture developed in collaboration with Ron Holland Design, along with interiors by French studio Liaigre. She can accommodate up to 12 guests across 6 cabins.

With a beam of 11.4 metres and a draft of 12.3 metres, she has an aluminium hull and aluminium superstructure. This adds up to a gross tonnage of 491 tons. SEAHAWK reaches a maximum speed of 15.50 knots and cruises comfortably at 13 knots.

Refitted in 2018, SEAHAWK has been listed for sale asking €29,750,000.

#2. LIARA
Baltic Yachts

34.1 m – 2019
Designed primarily as a fast, easy to use, family cruising yacht, the Baltic 112’s experienced owner has an eye on the racecourse. He’s employed in-vogue naval architect Malcolm McKeon to give the all-carbon sloop the edge it needs and alongside experienced skipper John Walker there’s potential here for a podium finish wherever she competes.

Award-winning interior specialist Adam Lay has produced a stunning limed oak accommodation finish to give this exciting cruiser/racer a stylish touch of luxury below. LIARA can accommodate owner, six guests and five crew.

#3. ALL ABOUT U2
ADA Yacht

49.99 m – 2019
The vessel was launched by Turkish builder ADA Yacht Works in June 2019 in Bodrum. ALL ABOUT U2 represents a sistership to the 2018 ALL ABOUT U, carrying multiple similarities with the vessel that took the water a year ago.

Built on a grey steel hull and aluminium superstructure, ALL ABOUT U 2 features design by Ginton Naval Architects. Within her 6-cabin layout, the yacht offers accommodation to up to 12 guests on the lower deck with a full-beam master suite forward, one VIP suite and four doubles.

Propelled by a pair of 800 hp engines, the yacht will be capable of a top speed of 14.8 knots and comfortable cruising at 12 knots.

The vessel is listed for sale asking €19,500,000.

#4. HYPERION
Royal Huisman

47.42 m – 1998
HYPERION’s design incorporates many high tech features and ideas down to her carbon dagger board and, at the time of her launch, she had the tallest ever single rig.

With a beam of 9.56 m and a draft of 4.7 m, she has an aluminium hull and aluminium superstructure. This adds up to a gross tonnage of 305 tons. HYPERION is powered by MTU engines of 1100 hp each giving her a maximum speed of 15 knots and a cruising speed of 10 knots. The sailing yacht can accommodate 6 guests in 3 cabins with an interior design by Pieter Beeldsnijder.

The vessel is currently asking € 12,950,000.

#5. ELLEN
Perini Navi

40 m – 2001
With a beam of 8 metres and a draft of 6.46 metres, ELLEN features a steel hull. She comes with a maximum speed of 13 knots and a cruising speed of 11 knots.

Ellen interior’s Layout sleeps up to 8 guests in 4 cabins including a full Beam Master stateroom with King bed and sitting room, ensuite head with tub and shower. A VIP guest suite with queen bed and ensuite plus a twin bedded guest suite all located aft. Forward of the dining salon is a 4th cabin with upper and lower berths with ensuite head and shower. She is also capable of carrying up to 6 crew on board to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.

The vessel is listed for sale asking € 11,500,000.

#6. GHOST
Vitters

37.3 m – 2005
GHOST is a lightweight high-performance ocean runner yacht designed by Luca Brenta & Co. Yacht Design. Green Marine built her GRP hull and superstructure. With a beam of 7.45 metres and a draft of 4.8 metres, the sailing yacht can accommodate 6 guests across cabins.

One of the eye-catchers on Ghost is the extended skylight panel that covers practically the entire length of the superstructure. The cockpit is seamlessly connected to the coach roof geometry both in terms of outside space and interior volumes, with the continuity also being evident in the design and layout of the two adjacent areas.

GHOST’s maximum speed makes 12.5 knots, while the yacht is capable of a range of 2,000 nautical miles.

The sailing yacht is currently asking € 7,950,000.
