AHOY CLUB & GEORGE CALOMBARIS PRESENT: GAZI GOES LAND AND SEA
A Luxe Brunch-to-Boat Experience Coming to Sydney This August
SYDNEY, 23 JULY 2025 – Ahoy Club is proud to unveil Gazi Goes Land and Sea, an exclusive brunch-to-boat experience in collaboration with acclaimed chef and former MasterChef judge, George Calombaris.
Taking place across two Saturdays only – 16 and 23 August 2025 – this one-of-a-kind event begins with a lively bottomless brunch at George’s bold new Greek restaurant GAZI, in Darlinghurst, and continues aboard the elegant BLUESTONE, a 31-metre luxury yacht, for an unforgettable afternoon on Sydney Harbour.
From bold Greek flavours to skyline views and summer beats, this is a high-energy experience designed to indulge all the senses.

Gazi Goes Harbourfront
“Gazi Goes Land and Sea” is more than just a culinary experience — it’s a celebration of flavour, lifestyle, and luxury. The day begins with a vibrant brunch that channels Athens' bustling street energy into a sit-down feast of “mood food” — fresh, feel-good dishes created to spark excitement.
After brunch, guests are transported in style to Double Bay Wharf, where they’ll step aboard BLUESTONE, one of Sydney’s most stunning charter yachts, for a three-hour cruise. With live beats, bottomless drinks and a menu that keeps on giving, this is the perfect way to spend a Sydney Saturday in winter.

George Calombaris on Sydney, GAZI & the Collaboration
“As a very proud Melburnian, I love that city and I’ll always love it. But Sydney for me is truly international,” says Calombaris. “I’m excited to be here amongst some of the best chefs in the country, the most incredible produce, and more importantly, some of the most amazing customers. I’m very proud and honoured to be here — and I’m loving the weather.”
On why this brunch-to-boat format works so well:
“What a great opportunity to fuse both land and sea – a brunch connected with a cruise on one of the most picturesque harbours in the world. It’s a wonderful collaboration: to feed people some really delicious food right here at GAZI, and then pop them on one of the most incredible boats you’ll ever see, and cruise around one of the most amazing harbours.”
On the menu:
“The brunch menu is really important — that’s where we set the tone for what’s going to be a big, wonderful day. It’s going to be close to six hours of fun for everyone, so we want some light, bright, fresh menu items to help everyone get excited. I call it mood food — food that’s going to make you feel good.”
