About MUTIARA LAUT

Meaning "Pearl of the Sea" in Indonesian, Mutiara Laut is a classic 46-metre wooden schooner, originally built in 2009 and elevated by an extensive refit in 2023. Her design draws on classic 18th-century North Atlantic schooners with distinctive Indonesian touches, and when all 7 sails are raised across her 850m² (9,000 sq.ft.) surface, she glides close to 8 knots.

Onboard, 7 well-appointed cabins spread across two decks combine warm teak wood, natural hues, and contemporary Indonesian craftsmanship, all designed around space, comfort, and privacy. From the wide, breezy decks to the climate-controlled indoor lounge, Mutiara Laut is built for families and adventurers alike, sailing to Komodo, Raja Ampat, Alor, and the Banda Sea in true old-world sailing style.
