About ILMA

ILMA Poised between avant-garde design and pure emotion, ILMA – an Azimut Grande 36M – is a true superyacht, conceived for owners and guests who seek space, light and a seamless connection with the sea. From the revolutionary semi-walkaround upper deck to the full-height, fully retractable windows, every line and volume has been sculpted to dissolve boundaries between indoors and outdoors, transforming every moment on board into a privileged encounter with the ocean. The Grande 36M introduces Azimut’s first semi-walkaround upper deck, extending almost the full length of the yacht. This flush, open promenade runs from stern to bow, offering an extraordinary sense of freedom and panoramic views. The sky lounge opens completely into the aft terrace thanks to fully retractable side windows, creating one continuous, barrier-free space. All the way forward, a spectacular glass whirlpool tub and generous sunpads form an exclusive private retreat, designed for pure relaxation in total comfort. On board, spaces are conceived to adapt to each owner’s and guest’s lifestyle. The main deck lounge can be interpreted in consecutive lounge areas for informal living and with a more traditional arrangement featuring a sitting area and a formal dining space on upper deck. This flexibility allows ILMA to be customized to suit any preferred way of entertaining and relaxing, from family cruising to sophisticated social evenings. Designed by Alberto Mancini, the Grande 36M is instantly recognizable. Long, flowing lines, crisp surfaces and sculpted hull sides give the yacht an athletic, dynamic stance while enhancing her generous volumes. The result is a profile that is both powerful and refined, perfectly expressing the modern superyacht ethos of performance, elegance and presence on the water. The impressively sized skylounge is a true “blank canvas” for the owner. It’s configured as a cinematic lounge for relaxed evenings, or as the main indoor dining area with sweeping views over the sea. This layout solution liberates the forward portion of the main deck, which can be transformed into a more intimate, club-style area – the Gentleman’s Club – ideal for private conversations, reading or a quiet drink away from the social heart of the yacht. On the main deck, a circular seating island at the entrance immediately conveys the sense of space and openness that defines ILMA. The thoughtful arrangement of furniture preserves sightlines through the full-height windows, offering uninterrupted sea views. Separate guest and crew pathways ensure privacy and efficiency, while the abundance of natural light floods the salon, revealing refined design details and imbuing the ambience with energy and warmth. The full-beam owner’s suite is conceived as a sanctum of light and calm. A centrally positioned king-size bed allows unencumbered circulation around the cabin, while the surrounding furnishings are arranged to maximize comfort and views. A dedicated vanity or desk area enjoys sweeping vistas over the water, creating the perfect spot to begin or end the day in complete tranquility. ILMA is not simply a yacht, but a contemporary superyacht experience: open, luminous and fluid, where every space is designed to celebrate the pleasure of life at sea, with a professional crew dedicated to creating truly unforgettable moments on board.
