06 · About EMERALD
* MAIDEN SEASON 2027 - A New Era for Croatian Shipbuilding *
For centuries, Croatia has been a nation shaped by the sea. From the ancient shipyards of the Adriatic coast to the modern engineering expertise that has earned global recognition, Croatian shipbuilding has always been synonymous with craftsmanship, resilience, and innovation. Today, a new chapter begins.
Rising proudly from the renowned Radez Shipyard, Emerald is a 50-metre motor yacht built to full IACS and Croatian Register of Shipping (CRS) class standards that marks a defining milestone not only for the yard but for the entire Croatian maritime industry. More than just a yacht, she is a symbol of a new generation of Croatian superyachts—combining world-class engineering, contemporary luxury, and exceptional design. Guiding this ambitious project from concept to reality is Ivica Šarun of Nauta d.o.o., one of the region's most respected and award-winning naval architects. Under his meticulous supervision, every detail has been carefully considered, ensuring that the vessel meets the highest international standards while embodying the spirit of Adriatic craftsmanship. The result is a yacht that stands proudly among the finest vessels in her class.
* Designed for Exceptional Living * Accommodating up to 14+ guests across seven luxuriously appointed cabins, the yacht offers an experience more commonly associated with the world's largest private superyachts. The magnificent master suite occupies a privileged position on the upper deck, providing panoramic sea views through expansive windows. The suite features a private office, a spacious walk-in wardrobe, and a lavish en-suite bathroom where guests can enjoy uninterrupted views of the Adriatic from the comfort of a freestanding bath.
The lower deck and the main deck house six additional guest cabins, thoughtfully arranged to maximize comfort and flexibility. These include:
• One VIP double cabin (located on the lower deck) • One double cabin (located on the main deck) • Four convertible twin en-suite cabins (located on the lower deck)
To further enhance accommodation flexibility, three of the double cabins feature integrated sofa beds that can extend into a single berth (90 x200cm), allowing the yacht to comfortably host larger family groups and charter parties. Every cabin has been conceived as a private sanctuary.
* Interior Excellence by NDS Yacht Designs * The yacht's remarkable interior has been created by Mrs Ivana Peko of NDS Yacht Designs, widely regarded as one of the leading yacht design studios in the region. Blending contemporary elegance with timeless nautical sophistication, NDS has crafted interiors that balance luxury with warmth. Natural materials, bespoke furnishings, carefully selected stone finishes, and custom lighting create an atmosphere of understated refinement throughout the vessel. Large windows flood the interior spaces with natural light, creating a constant connection between guests and the sea beyond. Every surface, texture, and detail reflects the studio's commitment to craftsmanship and its deep understanding of modern yacht living. The result is an interior that feels both luxurious and welcoming designed for the world's most discerning guests.
* Engineering for Comfort * Behind the elegant surroundings lies some of the most advanced marine technology available today. The yacht is equipped with a powerful 180,000 BTU/h chilled-water HVAC system, equivalent to a 15-ton marine climate control installation typically found aboard large superyachts. Unlike conventional air-conditioning systems, this sophisticated seawater-cooled chilled-water system distributes precisely controlled cooling and heating throughout the vessel via multiple air handlers, ensuring exceptional comfort in every cabin and guest area regardless of weather conditions. In addition, the yacht features a multiple layer water filtration system HP SCD 660/6. Together with advanced insulation, noise reduction technologies, and integrated vessel management systems, the yacht delivers a remarkably quiet and comfortable onboard environment. Stabilizers further enhance guest comfort by significantly reducing motion both underway and at anchor, providing a smooth and relaxing experience even in varying sea conditions.
* Expansive Outdoor Living * The exterior decks have been designed to maximize enjoyment of life at sea. The main deck offers generous lounging areas where guests can relax while taking in uninterrupted sea views. Above, the upper deck features a magnificent central dining area capable of hosting memorable alfresco dinners beneath the stars, complemented by additional sun lounging spaces. Crowning the yacht is an expansive sun deck that serves as the social heart of the vessel. Here, guests will find a fully shaded bar, comfortable lounge seating, and a luxurious Jacuzzi offering panoramic views from sunrise to sunset. Whether entertaining friends, enjoying family holidays, or hosting exclusive events, the yacht provides exceptional spaces for every occasion.
* A Crew Dedicated to Excellence * Supporting the guest experience is a highly professional crew of 11, led by the renowned Captain Antonio. With a distinguished career commanding some of the largest and most prestigious vessels built in Croatia, Captain Antonio brings unparalleled experience to the helm. Having previously commanded the largest superyacht ever constructed at Brodotrogir and navigated oceans across the globe, he leads his team with a commitment to safety, professionalism, and exceptional hospitality. Together, the crew ensures that every voyage is effortless, personalized, and unforgettable.
* Unlimited Adventure * For guests seeking excitement, the yacht carries an extensive collection of the latest water toys and recreational equipment available on the market. From exhilarating jet skis and cutting-edge e-foils to an impressive water slide and a wide selection of towables, paddleboards, and water sports equipment, there is something for every age and level of adventure. Whether exploring secluded Adriatic bays, or venturing further afield, the yacht transforms every anchorage into a private playground.
* Sustainable Performance * Powered by the latest generation of environmentally conscious marine engines, the yacht combines impressive performance with reduced environmental impact. Efficient propulsion systems, modern energy management technologies, and advanced engineering solutions ensure responsible cruising without compromising comfort or capability. This commitment to sustainability reflects the future direction of luxury yachting—where innovation and environmental responsibility work hand in hand.
* A Croatian Success Story * This remarkable vessel represents far more than the launch of a new yacht. She demonstrates what Croatian shipbuilding is capable of achieving in the 21st century: world-class quality, internationally recognized standards, outstanding design, and engineering excellence. Built in Croatia. Designed in Croatia. Engineered to compete on the world stage. As she prepares to embark on her maiden voyage in May 2027, this extraordinary 50-metre yacht stands as a proud ambassador for a nation with one of Europe's richest maritime traditions—and as a powerful symbol of the bright future ahead for Croatian superyacht construction.
