05 · About AIZU
AIZU is a distinctive 30-metre Trehard sailing yacht that combines genuine sailing pedigree with a calm, contemporary interior. Built in aluminium and designed by respected French naval architect Gilles Vaton, she remains a rewarding yacht to sail, while her Scandinavian-inspired interior by Claesson Koivisto Rune gives her a fresh and understated character.
She accommodates up to 8 guests in four similarly sized double cabins, each with en suite facilities, making her an especially good choice for couples or groups of friends travelling together. Inside, natural wood, soft neutral tones and clean lines create a relaxed atmosphere, while the spacious saloon provides a comfortable setting for dining, planning the day ahead or unwinding after time under sail.
One of AIZU’s most important advantages is her lifting keel, which can reduce her draught to approximately 2.2 metres. This gives her access to shallower bays and anchorages that many sailing yachts of a similar size simply cannot reach, opening up quieter, more secluded corners of the Greek islands and allowing guests to anchor closer to shore in places that would otherwise be out of bounds.
Combined with her generous cockpit, spacious foredeck and good selection of water toys, this makes AIZU a particularly appealing choice for guests who want both a genuine sailing experience and the freedom to explore beyond the usual anchorages.
