You might not think having a cinema onboard your yacht charter is something you desire, but it’s definitely an added benefit and makes an enjoyable evening for all. After a long day of bathing in the warm summer rays or enjoying the water toys at your disposal, there is sometimes nothing better than curling up with a variety of your favourite snacks and watching a movie under the stars.
We have rounded up some of our superyachts available for charter that feature an outdoor cinema in their suite of amenities but many of our yacht fleet include movie libraries to keep you and your guests entertained along with other entertainment facilities.
MALTESE FALCON
There are a handful of superyachts that are instantly recognizable – and MALTESE FALCON is one of them. This 88m (289 ft) vessel bears three towering masts each crossed by six yardarms and looks to all the world like the product of a Sci-Fi filmmaker’s imagination. Her unique rig provides a safe and beautiful solution to modern sailing. MALTESE FALCON interiors are every bit as stunning as her external profile: highly polished metals, curved leather furnishings, wonderful pieces of art make up just some of her décor. There is even an inside/outside bar – a circle perfectly bisected by the curving glass doors – for cocktails inside, outside, or both. Apart from a health spa and gym, the famous on-deck cinema is incredible and definitely an amenity you would want to avail of on your next luxury yacht charter. MALTESE FALCON boasts the largest outdoor cinema on the water using the lowest sail on the mizzen mast as the movie screen!
DYNAR
Sip champagne from the jacuzzi and watch your favourite movie onboard DYNAR whilst sailing to your next destination. This luxury superyacht boasts a retractable sunroof, lounge areas for casual alfresco dining along with an amazing open-air cinema for evening entertainment.
Ten guests will love their VIP staterooms all with ensuite facilities. The full-beam master cabin located at the main deck level features a large bath, a private study, and a walk-in wardrobe. When at anchor, friends and family will enjoy the large array of towable toys, a trampoline, jet skis, and snorkelling equipment as well as a swimming platform.
TURQUOISE
Cosy up on the lounge with your loved ones after a day of exploring and enjoy an old, classic movie on the large plasma screen lowered from the aft deck overhead.
When TURQUOISE was delivered in 2011, she was greatly admired for her space, sundeck and well-designed service flow that made her both beautiful yet practical. The interiors have been embellished and enhanced during her latest refit with a modern Art Deco style that uses muted tones and dramatic dark accents. The famous sundeck, with its large 14-person jacuzzi, now has a bar and barbecue for relaxed dining on the deck.
This stunning 55.4m (182 ft) is available to charter through Ahoy Club and can host up to 12 guests in six spacious staterooms.
CYAN
Built in 1997 by Codecasa, this Italian beauty is available for charter in the Mediterranean during the summer season and Caribbean during the winter season. She offers sophistication on the water with her elegant interiors and state-of-the-art technology throughout the vessel. Apart from a baby grand piano, Apple TV and an abundance of water toys, CYAN has a three-metre drop-down screen that enables you and your guests to relax outside with over 1,000 movies to choose from with her extensive media library.
