Fine Dining Around the Mediterranean

 Conca del Sogno

Along the Amalfi Coast, Conca del Sogno overlooks the blue of the Recommone Bay and is a beautiful spot serving the freshest seafood. Local fishermen bring in the morning’s catch and waiters unravel whole salt crusted sea bass right in front of you. An ode to beautiful Mediterranean cooking, it’s known to be prime at lunchtime. Highly recommended is their famous Zucchini pasta. For a uniquely sweet treat, order the sgroppino for dessert. It’s the most refreshing Italian cocktail you will ever have. The perfect mix of champagne, vodka, and lemon sorbet. For extra entertainment, the staff will pop the bottles, poor, and stir until thick, all right before your eyes. After your meal, enjoy a spritz on the terrace and if you’re feeling adventurous, take a dive into the ocean right off the restaurants’ edge.

Villa Treville

As evening falls at Villa Treville, dine over the water with stunning views across Positano at this prime sunset dinner spot. This spectacular restaurant is beautifully lit to make you feel as if you’re dining privately under the stars. The food is exquisite, with an emphasis on the simple and beautiful, and the ingredients could not be sourced more locally. Villa Treville grows much of its own produce in their gardens. With drink to match the quality of the food, this restaurant boasts one of the finest selections of wines and champagnes in the region. This restaurant also doubles as a boutique hotel so, book your stay at this exclusive location for the ultimate luxury experience. Pictured.

La Mome

Tucked away down the backstreets of Cannes, La Mome is a vibrant spot which serves classic Italian and Mediterranean cuisine with seasonal produce. The chef reinvents Italian classics with gourmandise: beef carpaccio, milaneses, truffle risotto, lobster paccheri. Always busy with a great atmosphere, visit this spot with friends to share the veal chop for four and relax to live music. Request a table outside where the tables are set up on the street and watch as some of the areas chicest guests walk by.

Bagatelle

This trendy spot is known as one of the best beach clubs in the Med. Bagatelle is a riot of fun with well-known DJs and enthusiastic staff. Prime time is 4PM so plan on making this your destination in the late afternoon. It’s hard not to have a good time here. Insider secret: Order a bottle of Dom Perignon or Cristal champagne and you’re given a royal treatment. With access to an additional part of the restaurant, the friendly staff will keep the fun alive by dressing you up in something extravagant (they have an abundance of costumes), and carrying carry you throughout the restaurant with the bottle in flames. If the atmosphere and fun isn’t enough, the food is great too. The truffle pizza is an absolute must!

La Guérite

At La Guérite, renowned Greek chef Yiannis Kioroglou has remained faithful to his culinary roots. Baking, braising and barbecuing, Kioroglou and his team in the kitchen conjure up authentic Mediterranean cuisine. Nestled on the rocky cove of Sainte-Marguerite Island, you get spectacular views over the Bay of Cannes. Guests can be picked up from Port Canto by the restaurants tender or, alternatively there is a popular anchorage site right in front of the island for those to access with their own boat.
