SuRi pulls off quite a trick; on the outside she looks like the go-anywhere, practical but none-too-pretty explorer yacht that she is, but inside she is as beautiful as any superyacht. Her unusual layout allows for a large helipad and an entire ‘hanger deck’ where the helicopter can be stored, alongside a seaplane, sailing yacht, and speedboat to name just a few. She has all the water toys you’d want from flyboards to slides and inflatable climbing walls: this is a yacht devoted to adventure. The lower deck has fantastic glass-bottomed windows in the media room – you can choose to gaze at the fish or the screen… You’ll also find the gym and massage room down here, as well as the yoga room which has four Pullman berths that could be used by children, nannies, pilots etc. Two floors above, the owner’s deck is home to five of the cabins, all with great views and two with built-in cots for babies or toddlers. (Yet another example of the flexibility of the accommodation.) The bridge deck is dominated by the helipad but also has the lovely sky lounge, which like the rest of the yacht uses pale whites, accents of teak and neutrals to create a contemporary, soothing interior. Outside – well sort of outside, is the winter garden style ‘glass house’ where you can enjoy the feeling of dining al fresco even if the breeze picks up. Last, but definitely not least, the sundeck has a wonderful observation lounge where you feel like you’re flying above the waves, plus good deck space with a large jacuzzi, polished teak dining table and plenty of sun loungers.
