# Ahoy Club > Australian luxury yacht charter and brokerage company, founded in 2018 by Ian Malouf and his daughter Ellie Malouf, headquartered in Double Bay, Sydney, with a European office on the Côte d'Azur. Ahoy Club charters and sells motor, sailing and expedition yachts worldwide. It was built by yacht owners rather than traditional brokers, and competes on a lower commission than the 15–20% standard in superyacht brokerage. Cruise a couple of hours a day, four at most; one overnight crossing of about eight hours per week, never two. Start and finish near an airport. The eastern Mediterranean (Croatia, Turkey, Greece) is cheaper with local crews; the west has newer boats and international crews. The Cyclades are windy and itineraries change; bring a spontaneous group.
