From July 1 - 14th, 2024, the best players in the world will once again take the stage at iconic center court to win the conveted Wimbledon Trophy. As the oldest tennis tournament in the world, having been first played in 1877, Wimbledon has established itself as a bucket list item for many globally. It is held annually at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in Wimbledon, London, England.

Grand Slam Status

Wimbledon is the highlight of the grass court season, which typically runs from late June to early July. Players often adjust their schedules and playing styles to accommodate the unique challenges of grass court tennis leading up to Wimbledon. As one of the four Grand Slam tournaments in tennis, along with the Australian Open, French Open, and US Open, winning Wimbledon is considered one of the greatest achievements in tennis and is a lifelong dream for many players.

The event is known for its rich traditions and dress code. Players are required to wear predominantly white attire, and there are specific guidelines regarding clothing and equipment. Additionally, spectators are treated to traditions such as the playing of "God Save the Queen" before the finals and the consumption of strawberries and cream, an iconic Wimbledon snack.
